Reindeer Game Rules

For Bucks and Does
Newest Game

Game 1: Basic

Multiples of each. B controls.
If not equal number, reduce extra with "musical chairs"

Decide how long to circle, e.g. music stops.
Decide how long to linger at each stop

a) If B scores, then eliminates self and D eliminates other D.
b) If D scores, then B eliminates other B
c) If both scores, then B can continue or rest and D eliminates other D.

d) If one B and one D remain, last score wins.
e) If B wins, go to Game 2 with remaining D.
f) If D wins, go to Game 2 with new B.

g) If one B and multiple D, go to Game 2.
h) If one D and multiple B, go to Game 3.

Game 2

One B, multiple D. D controls.

a) If B scores, D chooses next B.
b) If D scores, B eliminates other B.

c) When one D left, last score wins.
d) If B wins, pick any D, who may accept or choose alternate D who must accept.
e) If D wins, pick any B, who must accept.

Game 3

One D, multiple B. D controls.

a) If B scores, then B eliminates self.
b) If D scores, then B accrues one immunity from elimination.

c) When one B remains, last score wins.
d) If B wins, B gets one choice of prize.
e) If D wins, D gets #-of-B choices of prizes.

Game 4

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) If D scores, then steals a new B. c) If B scores, then B eliminates self and chooses replacement B.
d) Abandoned D may follow B, or join another pair.

e) When one pair/group remains, go to Game 2 or 3 as appropriate.

Game 5

a) One D, 2 B. b) One B plays backfield, one B plays forward.
c) On random signal, swap roles.
d) If B scores, then B eliminates self, other B assumes that role.
e) If D scores, the B swap roles.
f) When one B and one D remain, last score wins.
g) If B wins, B gets one choice of prize.
h) If D wins, D gets 2 choices of prizes.

Game 6

a) One B, 2 D. b) One D plays backfield, one D plays forward.
c) On signal B swap roles..
d) If B scores, then B eliminates self.
e) If 1st D scores, then D swaps roles.
f) If 2nd D scores later, 1st scoring D is eliminated.

e) If 2 remaining D, B choose replacement B.
f) If 1 remaining D, eliminated D choose replacement B.

Game 7

a) One D, 3 B. b) One B plays halfback, one B plays fullback, one B plays forward.
c) On signal halfback B and forward B swap roles.
d) If half/fullback B scores, then B eliminates self, replaced by forward.
e) If forward B scores, then B eliminates self.
f) If D scores, halfback B and forward B swap.
g) Play continues until one B remains, last score wins.
i) If D wins, gets 3 choices of prizes.
j) If B wins, gets 1 choice of prize.

Game 8

a) One B, 3 D.
b) One D plays backfield, one D plays forward, one D plays wing.
c) On signal, wing D swaps with either backfield or forward D.
d) If forward B scores, then B eliminates self, relevant D chooses replacement B.
e) If wing D scores, then D swaps with forward, which is eliminated.
f) If forward/backfield D scores, wing (if any) is eliminated, D swaps with other D.
g) If forward/backfield D scores and no wing, D eliminates other D, replaces that D.

h) When one B and one D remain, last score wins.
i) If B wins, gets choice of 4 prizes.
j) If D wins, gets choice of 1 prize.

Game 9

a) One B and one D, start as forwards.
b) On signal, change field position.
c) If B scores, B is eliminated and replaced by new B.
d) If D scores, B chooses additional B, and field position for that B.
e) When no more new B, go to Game 3.

Game 10

a) One B and one D, start as halfbacks.
b) On signal, change field position.
c) If D scores, D is eliminated, B chooses replacement D.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated, D chooses replacement B.
e) When no more new replacements, last score wins.
f) If B wins, go to Game 2.
g) If D wins, go to Game 3.

Game 11

a) One B and one D.
b) If one scores, that one is eliminated and is replaced by new D.
c) On signal and there is a B, B is replaced by new B.
d) On signal and there is no B, 1st D is replaced by new D.
e) When no more new replacements, last score wins.
f) If B wins, go to Game 2.
g) If D wins, go to Game 3.

Game 12

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) On signal, B shifts counter-clockwise.
c) If D scores, B swaps with next clockwise B.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated, D swaps with next counter-clockwise D.
e) When one B remains, B gets one prize for each remaining D.

Game 13

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) On signal, D shifts counter-clockwise.
c) If D scores, D eliminates next clockwise D.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated, D swaps with next counter-clockwise D.
e) When one D remains, D gets two prizes for each remaining B.

Game 14

a) One D, 4 B.
b) D play center, one B plays halfback, one B plays forward, 2 B play wings.
c) If B scores, B is eliminated.
d) If D scores, B move counter-clockwise in field position.

e) When one B remains, last score wins.
f) If D scores before B, B must continue play as fullback until scoring.
g) If B scores before D, B must continue play as striker until D scores.

Game 15

a) Two D, each playing choice of forward or striker.
b) Last D to score wins.
c) Winner chooses either Game 3, 5, 7, or 14 for loser to play.
d) Winner gets one prize.

Game 16

a) One B, 2 D.
b) B plays center, one D plays halfback, one D plays striker.
c) If halfback D scores, that D swaps with striker.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated, halfback becomes forward, striker becomes forward.
e) If striker scores, halfback becomes fullback, striker becomes forward.
f) If forward scores, then must play Game 14.
g) If fullback scores, then other D must play Game 14.

Game 17

a) One D, one B on open field.
b) D1 seeks B2 to play against.
c) B1 seeks D2 to play against.
d) D1 plays freestyle, B1 plays mirror.
e) High score wins.

Game 18

a) One B, one D on open field b) D1 seeks D2 to play against B1.
c) B1 seeks B2 to play against D1.
d) D1 plays freestyle, B1 plays mirror.
e) Low score wins.

Game 19

a) One D, one B on open field.
b) D1 seeks B2 to play against.
c) B1 seeks D2 to play against.
d) D1 plays freestyle, B1 plays freestyle.
e) First of D1/B1 to maneuver B2/D2 to D2/B2 gets B2/D2 scores.
f) Other of D1/B1 keeps B1/D1 scores.
g) High score wins.

Game 20

a) One B, one D, with playbook on open field.
b) Coin toss. Heads: swap playbooks; Tails: keep.
c) D1 seeks B2 to play against.
d) B1 seeks D2 to play against.
e) Coin toss. Heads: High score wins; Tails: Low score wins. f) Follow playbook.

Game 21

a) 2 B, one D.
b) D plays center, one B plays forward, one B plays halfback.
c) If B scores, that B is eliminated.
d) If one B and D scores, B switches to fullback, new B plays halfback.
e) Low score wins.

Game 22

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) All play striker.
c) If B scores, that B is eliminated, abandoned D goes defensive.
d) If paired D scores, next defensive D to left is eliminated.
e) If defensive D scores, gets choice of remaining B.
f) High score plays forward against low score.

Game 23: Oracle

a) One B, one D, open field.
b) D scouts for new D prospect for B to play against.
c) B to make playbook.
d) D to bet for/against completing playbook.
e) When B scores play ceases.
f) If D is for but wrong, D completes playbook in place of prospect.
g) If D is for and right, B runs entire playbook against D.
h) If D is against and wrong, D must run playbook against both B and prospect.
i) If D is against and right, B must play Game 24.

Game 24

a) One B, one D, open field.
b) B scouts for new B prospect for D to play against.
c) B to make playbook for D.
d) D to bet for/against completing playbook.
e) When prospect scores play ceases.
f) If D is for but wrong, B completes playbook in place of prospect.
g) If D is for and right, B runs entire playbook against D.
h) If D is against and wrong, D must run playbook against both B and prospect.
i) If D is against and right, B must play Game 23.

Game 25

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) D plays forward until B scores.
c) Then, and only then, B plays forward until D scores.
d) First D to scores wins.

Game 26

a) All B and D, paired off.
b) Both B and D play forward.
c) First pair with both B and D scoring, or 3 scores by D, wins.

Game 27

a) 5 D, one B.
b) One D plays center, other 4 play guard, B plays striker.
c) If center scores, center is elminated, swaps with guard.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated, remaining D get one prize each.

Game 28

a) All D, open field.
b) Draw lots for center, remaining D will play guard.
c) Remaining D scout for new B prospect for center D to play against, make playbook.
d) If B scores, guards must pair off and play forward against each other.
e) If center scores, center is eliminated, B chooses guard to play center.
e) Guards may play striker against other guards, if desired. f) If guard/striker D scores, that D switches to fullback, center reverts to guard.
f) If no guards remain, center switches to fullback.

Game 29

a) One D, all B.
b) D plays fullback, one B plays center, other B serially play forward.
c) Forward B plays until D scores or center B scores.
d) If D scores, forward B plays guard.
e) If center B scores, center B is eliminated and is replaced by current forward.
f) High score wins, B scores are aggregated.

Game 30

a) All B and D, paired opposing.
b) D wraps around B, who carries D.
c) At signal, B runs circuit, tries to get D to score as many times as possible.
d) If B scores, team stops play.
e) All play stops when last B scores. Highest team score wins.

Game 31

a) 2D for every 1 B.
b) 2 D oppose, 1 D plays center, other D plays striker.
c) Striker D attempts to maneuver center D to within 1 yard of goal.
d) If striker forces center over goal, see rule (g).
e) When center is close to scoring, B enters play as halfback and must force center to score within 30 second timer.
f) If center scores, center D is eliminated and striker plays halfback against B.
g) If center forestalls scoring, striker D plays fullback against B and as forward against center D.

Game 32

a) 2 B for every D.
b) 2 B flip for who goes first.
c) Current B plays against D until within scoring range, then D goes to sideline.
d) Current B has 2 seconds to score, otherwise goes to sideline.
e) Second B replaces first, D returns from sideline, go to (c).
f) If any B scores while D on field, that B plays forward against D until D scores.
g) If no B scores within 2 seconds of D leaving field, then D chooses next game.
h) If both B score within the 2 seconds, they flip for who chooses next game.
i) If D scores, then current B may go for a goal while D is still on field, then other B must play forward against D until D scores again.

Game 33

a) All B and D, alternating in chain of forwards looping back on itself.
b) If D scores chain reverses.
c) If B scores, B is eliminated and chain reverses.
d) When one B remains, follow rules of Game 2.

Game 34

a) All B and D.
b) All B play center, all D play halfback.
c) In round robin, each D will play against each B for 3 minutes.
d) If B scores, B is eliminated and D preceeding the D opposing the scoring B must continue current play and ALSO play forward against the following D (whose opposing B just scored) until either D scores.
e) D with no current opposing B may attempt to score on own.
f) If D scores, the opposing B may eliminate any other B, if solo then D may eliminate any other D.
